Newsletter alli Report Launches Discussion Forum for Diet Drug alli and Xenical

With a growing number of overweight individuals hoping to soon obtain weight-loss pill alli, and GlaxoSmithKline already offering an assortment of dietary tips and exercise advise, a forum enabling readers to report on weight-loss results, side-effects, and experiences has been launched by the newsletter alli Report

"We decided to start the Alli Report Forum after receiving a growing volume of email from patients -- many of whom have taken prescription Xenical, Meridia or other diet drugs -- who are anxious to compare experiences with others," said publisher Milton R. Benjamin.

"While the alli Report's primary mission will continue to be to report on the regulatory process and issues involved in the approval and marketing of this highly anticipated diet drug, our reporting staff will now be augmented by hundreds of orlistat users reporting on their own experiences," he added.

Five months ago, the alli Report's sister site, the Acomplia Report, launched a similar forum, and hundreds of users of the weight-loss drug -- as well as physicians in both Europe and the United States -- have registered to participate in discussions on the site.

That forum is prompting the liveliest exchange of information on rimonabant found on the Internet.

"We are hopeful that the Alli Report Forum (www.allireport.com/forum.htm) will attract users seriously interested in the use of this highly anticipated drug to treat a serious medical condition, and that the forum will become an important resource for the exchange of helpful and potentially life-transforming information," Benjamin said.
